  1. Preheat heat oven to 140 ℃ and line a baking tray with parchment paper or take a non stick baking tray
  2. Place the chia and flax seeds in a bowl and add the water
  3. leave to the soak for 30 minutes at least, for the seeds to absorb the water
  4. After this stage, the mixture will be gel like in texture. Add the rest of the seeds, salt and flavours
  5. Thoroughly mix all together, it might take a bit of elbow grease
  6. Put on the baking sheet and either using your finger tips/ flat of your palm slowly roll the mix into the thickness of a pound coin
  7. Use the palm of your hand ensuring it’s wet so the mixture does not stick to your hand
  8. continue to flatten it out into a thin sheet. The mix may start falling apart, crumbling at the edges, be patient and push it back together again, As it cooks, all the ingredients will melt together and this will solidify
  9. When the mixture has reached the thickness of a pound coin, place in the middle of the oven for 30 minutes.
  10. After 30 minutes, take out and score with the tip of a knife, making little triangles or rectangular cracker shapes. It is not a disaster if you cut through it
  11. The mix is still quite soft, so I have not been able to flip these successfully, so I wouldn’t advise that
  12. Return to the oven for half an hour, then remove and let cool for at least 15 minutes.
  13. When cooled, snap them into the desired shape and enjoy!
  14. They keep in an airtight container for at least a few weeks
